Ipads, computers and phones your thing? Looking for an opportunity to help someone out. Volunteer to teach seniors in your community about technology.
Cyber seniors connects youth in the community with senior students who wish to learn the basics of internet and computer use. This is a beginner course and each participant partnered with a mentor that will help him or her answer his or her own personal computer questions. Support and training is provided for all students interested in helping and the commitment is 10 weeks, once a week. Teens will be paired with a senior for one on one help after a short classroom activity to get things started.
Participants must be prepared to meet once or twice a week for ten weeks, (Min 20 hours) Schedule to be determined by individual pairs.
