Books:
We have paperback fiction, hardcover fiction, junior fiction, junior nonfiction, early books, magazines. If there is a book you would like to read and we don't have it on the shelf, we will interlibrary loan this item for you.
We also house Palliative care books, Agricultural Society Books, as well as Art Society Books.

Audiobooks:
We have a very large audio collection for our members. This collection is useful for the Print Impaired readers, truck drivers; members find them useful on long trips etc. Together with the help from Parkland Regional Library we can rotate these items or use interlibrary loans to keep the collection updated.

Large Print:
We provide Large Print Books for members who have trouble reading regular print.Together with Parkland Regional Library we can provide a continual update of materials for the public to read.

Videos:
Our video collection consists of how to and travel videos and includes DVD's. We can also interlibrary loan any item that you may need.

CD Music :
Our CD collection consists of all types of music. This is a good way to educate yourself with Classical, African, Jazz etc. There are many titles available at our library and through our interlibrary loan service.

IPAC:
Internet Public Access Catalogue Computer
Look up books, videos, music and more on our easily accessible library catalogue computer. Find them in the library or request books from other libraries in the Parkland Regional Library system using our online catalogue!

Foreign Language:
If you require a book in a language other than english, we will arrange for the loan of a block of books. There are approximately 32 languages that can be accessed.

Computers:
Don't have a computer at home? In a rush and need some online information fast?
We provide internet access to the public. This service helps the public to access their jobs, businesses, email, research, homework etc. This service is especially welcome to members and the general public who don't have a computer at home. Drop in or call ahead at (403) 638-4000.

Do you need to create a brochure, make a report, create a home budget plan or do a special presentation?
Our public computers give you access to the Microsoft Office Suite, which includes:
Microsoft Excel
Performs calculations, analyzes information, creates spreadsheets and web pages

Creates and edits text and graphics in letters, reports, and web pages
Microsoft Power Point
Creates and edits presentations for slide shows, meetings and web pages

C.N.I.B. :
Canadian National Institute for the Blind Partner-Visunet Canada.
- Partnership Program
Visunet Canada is a service of the Canadian National Institute of the Blind(CNIB)Library for the blind and visually impaired patrons with perceptual difficulties in reading. We can provide interlibrary loans of audio,Braille books, Electronics text, Print Braille Books for families, Braille Music, Magazines,Descriptive Video Service. We also provide access to the CNIB Libraries Online Public Access Catalogue. We also have available a CNIB AUDIO PLAYER or can access one through our regional library, Parkland Regional Library.

Volunteer Reader:
We provide a volunteer reader for patients in Pioneer Place Continuing Care facility or the Sundre Seniors Lodge.
This volunteer reads the newspaper or books at these locations on request.
We also provide Video's, Music CD's and other library materials for special events at these locations free of charge.

Delivery:
We provide free library book delivery service to those in need who are ill or are otherwise unable to access the library.

We provide the public access to a fax machine.

Testing Space:
Students from S.A.I.T. and other colleges may write their exams in the Library under supervision of the Librarian. Appointments must be made in advance.
